Gyeong Bok Gung Palace

It was founded in 1395 and was destroyed in 1592 by fire during the Japanese invasion.

Gyeongbokgung reconstructed in 1867 and Geoncheonggung Palace reconstructed in 1873.

Restoration of Gyeongbokgung in 1990 and Colonial Government-General building removed in 1996

In 2007 the restoration of Geoncheonggung was completed

Gyeong Bok Gung Palace

Fue fundado en 1395 y destruido por un incendio en 1592 durante la invasión japonesa.

Gyeongbokgung fue reconstruido en 1867 y Geoncheonggung Palace reconstruido en 1873.

La restauración de Gyeongbokgung fue en 1990 y el edificio colonial del Gobierno General fue retirado en 1996.

 En 2007, la restauración de Geoncheonggung se completó

Geunjeongjeon and Vicinity

It's the main throne hall of Gyeongbokgung. The name means that "all fears will be properly managed if Your Majesty demonstrate diligence"

The King's affairs of state, including meetings, receptions with foreign envoys, and the most important, the coronation ceremony, were all conducted here
